Tad is a Co-Founder and President of Banyan Infrastructure, a SaaS solution for lenders to originate, service, and securitize renewable energy loans.
From his early days in the Peace Corps to structuring complex debt agreements for renewable energy projects, Tad’s life-long mission is creating innovative financial and technological solutions that enable capital markets to finance sustainable infrastructure at the scale necessary to address climate change while providing electricity to all people across the globe.
Prior to Banyan Tad has 25+ years experience with structured finance, energy, and entrepreneurship. He structured a multi-billion-dollar project finance debt agreement for Sundrop Fuels, a biofuels developer and co-founded Star Energy Partner, a green retail energy supplier. Tad gained extensive leadership and operations experience as an Operating Partner at Golden Gate Capital.
Tad has an MBA from Wharton, MA from the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A from UC Berkeley.
