Prior to Hey Jane, Kate served as an attending physician in the women’s jail at Rikers Island, where she started a reproductive health clinic, and at the Institute for Family Health. Kate graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed her residency training at the Mount Sinai Residency in Urban Family Medicine in New York City.
