Cheraé Robinson is an entrepreneur and cultural architect currently leading Community at Flybridge Capital Partners, an early-stage VC fund. Her journey to venture started as a founder building Tastemakers Africa, an experiences marketplace connecting travelers to unique tours in African cities - Flybridge was the largest investor. She is also the creator of “The Thread,” a community platform for the African diaspora built in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Cheraé has been named one of “10 Emerging Women Entrepreneurs in Africa” by Forbes, “20 to Watch” by Culture Shift Labs, a “Woman to Watch” by the United Nations Foundation and one of "44 People Changing The Way We Travel" by Condé Nast Traveler Magazine. She was pivotal in the success of “The Year of Return” in Ghana and is a pioneer in Black Travel - especially among millennials. She serves on the board of Birthright Africa and is on the host committee for the AMREF ArtBall.

Cherae graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Morgan State University. Before launching her career in tech, she sat at the intersection of science, business, and partnerships at the CDC, CIMMYT/World Bank, and CARE. She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
